It was a trip I’ll never forget! So grateful to have had that week with you and the others.

Your paintings are beautiful Jennifer. Oaxaca suited your colour palette perfectly!

Love, love, love all your work with those bright & happy colors!! Something I need in this dreary grey time of the year (at least in Berlin 😉). Thank you so much for this inside view of your great trip with all these terrific artists.

I know, NY too with all the grey! It was thrilling to be around so much color. Thanks for reading!

That trip sounds so dreamy! I'm an art supply overpacker too. Isn't packing too much half the fun? I also love to take "one last look" and grab no fewer than 5 - 10 colored pencils. My husband loves when I do that. 😜

Oh, I do that too!! I don't even mention it to my husband though, as long as I can fit them its all ok!

Are you going back to Oaxaca? I want to join a trip … not interested in reinterpreting “the Masters.” Have pics of doors, stucco walls, sky & rooftops, similar to those you posted. Work mostly in watercolor right now, but want to explore gouache and acrylic. So much of what you both post, Jennifer & Gayle, is inspiring to me.

Thank you, We don't have plans for another trip there as of now but maybe!! The masters thing is really fun and it will only be 1 day of our Italy trips, but I get it, It's not for everyone. Rember when using gouache to use less water!!!

I bet the masters thing IS fun. I’m willing to give it a go. I felt I might be able to venture into people as a subject in an environment like what you and Gayle provide. I’m going to keep tabs on what & when you’re doing stuff and WILL find a way to jump in!

This trip sounds wonderful and inspiring. My mind is already starting to play with the idea of an European version of it.

Looking forward to see all your work that flows out of that week!
