Hi Everyone!!,
We just returned from teaching two extraordinary workshops in Tuscany.
It’s stunning there, I did a ton of drawing and painting. Each group of painters was so different but special, creative, and motivating! I constantly repeat how much we learn from everyone as much as they learn from us. I’ll have more on that trip coming in the next letter. I just returned to New York last night and am spending the day cleaning, organizing, cooking (non-Italian) food, and trying to reemerge into my everyday life.
We are so thrilled to have added a second workshop week in Greece, October 8-15, 2025.
and I are passionate about continuing this journey of teaching, exploring, and meeting you all. We can’t believe how lucky we are to do this! This workshop is available to all levels of painters. We even had someone last week who had never lifted a brush, she had a blast and went home with beautiful painted memories. So many people leave us with renewed purpose and skills to continue their journey. It will be the 11th workshop we have taught together and we put together a lively, creative, and instructive week for everyone. We dig deep to help you find your authentic creative voice and develop or improve your sketchbook practice, from whatever stage you are at. We will document our adventures and day-to-day activities and we will learn to find and paint the joy and beauty in what we see around us! There will be 5-6 hours of daily painting at the venue, We also have a few local trips planned. We do yoga in the mornings, there will be spa services you can sign up for and the food will be healthy, fresh and delicious, vegan, vegetarian, and pescatarian.
You’ll be motivated to interpret what you see, we will show you how you can change a scene to incorporate your internal vision, including memory and aspirations. It’s your perception of what you see, no doubt different than anyone else’s. We have many exercises and fun warm-ups we’ve developed, to keep you focused on the process rather than the product, ultimately rewarding everyone with way more successful paintings by the end! We revel in the joy of the process.
Come paint with us in paradise!
New Zoom Workshop // Fashion Inspired : Italy
Sunday, November 3, 1-3:15 EST
We have a special guest in this class, our good friend, the amazing @mokshini!
Join us for a Fashion-inspired Zoom workshop, influenced by our recent trip to Italy!
We may add the Tuscan Landscape or a backdrop of the buildings of Florence. There could be olive trees and grape vineyards.. We always explore many ideas
before we land on the one that feels best to paint with you! It’s a great peek into our
creative process.
We love keeping these Zoom workshops donation-based so they are accessible to
everyone. Please keep in mind that we work hard to give you great classes, so we
appreciate that those of you who can afford to pay more will do so, and this helps those
who can afford less!
We suggest a minimum of $25, but we understand that may not be possible for
everybody. Please pay what you can afford.
Here’s a quiet moment for your contemplation.
