I am very interested in this class! I recently acquired a bunch of Tombow alcohol ink markers and I always paint with watercolor. Do you think these materials will work for what you are teaching?

Absolutely!! I haven't used the alcohol markers yet but it's all an experiment and we will learn and play. I don't see why it would be any problem. See you soon!

I've been doing David Hockney style paintings/drawings this year & one of my favorites is where I added pen and crayon. I just asked my husband last night to help me create a frame. Hoping to attend both sessions this week.

It's an added excitement, to the texture and also the fun of making it! It's fantastic hen you love what you've done so much you want to live with it on the wall!! I only have a few of mine framed. Hope to see you this week!

So much inspiration in this. The snapdragons and zinnias were my favorites, in part because I am growing both in my garden. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and art.

Your garden must be lovely!! Thank you!!

Loved this! And love the idea of trying new tools, new mediums, just like David Hockney. He was a true 'use what you have' which is my saying in the kitchen. So inspiring!

I know! He was so experimental and open to using whatever was available and what would work and be fun! Thanks!!

I also love David Hockney, and I've also been adding marker and Neocolor crayon to my paintings. I hope to join you at the Hockney Zoom. So cool...and timely! Do you have future painting travel classes planned? I'd love to do a travel journal someday.

Wow! Switching mediums while trying to do a quick portrait is top tier! I'm still too slow to attempt that. But I do enjoy adding more color and shading after the hour has ended and I'm reviewing what I've created. I really enjoy the quick portrait hour...the time really flies by!
